The PTTCT Scholarship is a heartfelt opportunity to uplift and support individuals who have been impacted by mental health and are ready to turn their journey into purpose. Each year, we award one deserving applicant whose story reflects strength, vulnerability, and a desire to grow. This scholarship is more than financial aid—it’s a celebration of your voice, your healing, and your belief in a better tomorrow.
To apply for the PTTCT Scholarship, applicants must submit a 10-page personal essay that touches on the following themes:

How mental health—whether positive or challenging—has shaped your life.

The personal impact of your experiences with mental wellness.

Why mental health is important to you and how it influences your goals.

Your belief in PTTCT's mission and how it aligns with your values.

What support, tools, or changes you believe are needed in your life right now.

How PTTCT can be a part of your journey toward healing, success, and purpose.
We are looking for heartfelt honesty, vulnerability, strength, and a vision for a better future. Your voice matters, and your story has the power to inspire others.
Submission Process

Deadline: All essays must be submitted by January 1st annually.

Format: Essays should be typed, double-spaced, and no longer than 10 pages.

Evidence of current GPA is to be provided.

How to Submit: Upload your completed essay and GPA evidence using the designated submission form on our website at the time of your application.

Eligibility: Open to individuals ages 16 and older who are passionate about mental wellness and embody the spirit of personal growth and community empowerment.
Award Details

Announcement Date: The scholarship winners will be announced annually on May 20th, a day of celebration, reflection, and hope for PTTCT.

Award Distribution: The scholarship will be awarded shortly after the announcement date.

Support Beyond Scholarship: All applicants are welcomed into the extended PTTCT community and may receive encouragement, resources, and opportunities beyond the scholarship itself.

Amount awarded up to $5,000.00
